How to Shave:
Pre-Treatment
- Cleanse your face and pat it dry before shaving. Make sure your skin is taut and your razor is angled at 45 degrees before beginning to shave downward with feathery gentle strokes. Do not however drag it against your skin.
Post-Treatment
- After fully rinsing, use a Jade Roller to tighten and cool your skin after shaving. Apply a soothing, anti-inflammatory oil to your skin after that to replenish its moisture.
Tip: Dermaplaning can be performed on all skin types. However, if you have an allergy to aspirin, you should consult a dermatologist first before the procedure, because sterile blades might not be safe for those allergic to salicylic acid (found in Aspirin). Nevertheless, there are at-home methods that you can use without consulting a doctor. Though it is typically recommended to only be done by professionals, some may attempt home methods, but do so at your own risk!
